Can't move up or down on home screen on my Google Chromecast.

I can only use the voice search, I can't move up or down on home scream to make a different app selection.

Install Google Home 2.46.1.7 application update which now includes a built-in remote and use it to check remote batteries level. Replace the batteries if need be.

If the level is still good, remove the batteries from the remote, reinstall and re-pair the remote.
