Cannot switch user profile for YouTube TV with Google TV/Chromecast

I have setup multiple user profiles for our newly purchased YouTube TV subscription. When I view YouTube TV on a computer, clicking on the icon for the current user causes a dropdown menu to appear with the other users listed. Simply clicking on another user, switches to the user. This does not work on the TV where I have Google TV/Chromecast plugged into HDMI 1. The YouTube TV help desk rep told me to sign-out of YouTube TV and then sign in with the second account. I can't figure out how to sign out of YouTube TV. When I press the power button on the Google TV/Chromecast remote, the TV turns on and displays the YouTube TV home screen. I can't find a place to log out of the YouTube TV app.

I tried moving the Google TV/Chromecast device to a computer monitor to see if the problem was something to do with my TV which was new in 2014.  On the computer monitor, the Google TV/Chromecast and YouTube TV worked just fine.  But I could not switch the user profile.

How do I log out of YouTube TV so that I can login as someone else?

Once I get each user logged in once on the device, will the drop-down menu I see on the computer version of the YouTube TV app work?

I figured out how to switch user profiles.  When I first turn on the TV with the Chromecast remote, I see an opening screen for YouTube TV that has a menu across the top. The icon at the far right of the screen is my user icon. When I click on that I see my name and right under it an invitation to switch user. Clicking there does not work.

So instead scroll across the top menu to Apps and click on that.  On the Apps screen, scroll across the list of Apps until reaching YouTube TV and click on that.  Then click on the user icon, Switch User will be an option and it works!

I do hope ChromeCast/Google TV and YouTube TV make user switching on the top screen work. I have 3 users in my house plus me.  Two of those users will be able to drill down on the Apps screen and switch user.  The 3rd is an extreme techno-phobe, he will not be able to do this. Oh well.

You can also send feedback about your Chromecast device through the Google Home app. Here's how: Submitting feedback about your Chromecast device.
