Up until today I have had a child's login on our Google TV. Today it has vanished and wants me to sign her up with her own account. I used the email I created for her and the Google TV said is didn't support her email because she was a child. Is this a new update for Google TV? Is there a way around it? Or do I have to abandon Google TV?

I have the same issue. Would really like an answer on how to resolve this as my 5 year old is now using my account with no parental control. Not very happy with Google if this is the case.

I did a hard reset and started fresh. I got to add my child's account but at the end of the setup it started to get glitchy and wouldn't finalize setup.

I did a factory reset and started everything again from scratch as if it was a new device. Got it all set up and was able to add a child profile again. Saturday all evening setting up our profiles all over again and getting everything back to how it was. However, as soon as I switch the Chromecast off and back on again, the child profile disappeared and I wasn't able to re-add it. I really don't want to start from scratch again. If this is going to happen again and again, please reply Google with an answer.
