Can anyone help me out? So im trying to stream chromecast 1 off my phone with only using my hotspot.. my tv connected to the hotspot  and the chromecast is connected to the tv . My tv doesn’t show up for any of the streams i have . What steps am i missing?

Zandaman30, to confirm, have you already set up the Chromecast using the Google Home app and connected it to your hotspot? If you haven't yet, please set up your Chromecast device in order for you to cast a video content to your TV. 

Also, please be advised that to complete the setup for Chromecast using a mobile hotspot, you should have two devices (one as a setup device and the other with the hotspot as a router). This is because most devices won’t allow both Wi-Fi and mobile hotspots to work at the same time.

Rrp76, it looks like your concern is different from the original poster. I'd  suggest creating a new thread to avoid confusion in the troubleshooting part.
