I can only connect my Chromecast audio via ethernet. Google home will not see it via Wi-Fi. Anyone know why?

Hello Osaf,
Thanks for reaching out to the Chromecast Community forum! Let's sort this out.
A few questions: what exact message are you getting when connecting it to your Wi-Fi? What's the LED status on your Chromecast Audio? What's the make and model of your mobile phone and your Wi-Fi router? Please reboot your Chromecast Audio and Wi-Fi router. You can also check and configure your router settings. See the information below:
Enable these settings on your router, if applicable:
Disable these settings on your router, if applicable:
Note: If you aren’t not familiar with these settings, you may refer to your router manufacturer's documentation or you may contact your internet service provider for help.
Best,
Jennifer

Hi Osaf,
Thanks for the additional information. To confirm, is your Chromecast already set up via Ethernet connection? If yes, when you disconnect it via Ethernet and connect it automatically in your Wi-Fi, are you getting any messages when casting that there's no devices found? Could you try to check your router settings and configure them? Check out this support website article to see more information about your Google Wifi and let me know how it goes.
Regards,
Jennifer
