Disable notifications about no internet available

I have a chromecast google tv connected to my LAN. The LAN is not connected to the internet. I would like to disable the pop up message that keeps telling me that there is no internet connection.  Is this possible and if so, how would I do it?

I'm sorry, Chromecast devices require access to the internet to function.

There is no way to turn off that notification or use your device without internet access.  Not even if you are just mirroring local content.

If your TV has Chromecast Built-in or Google TV built in (instead of attaching a Chromecast device to it), contact your manufacturer to see if they have added an off-line option.
