Hi Jowal66,

You've posted on the Google Nest Community Forums. For assistance regarding your Chromecast, I'll move your post over to the right Community page. If in case you need assistance still on the same device in the near future, please reach out to them directly via this link.

Cheers,

I'm sorry, Google doesn't have a solution designed for old-school speakers at this time.

They used to sell Chromecast Audio which hooked to the line-in or RCA jacks of systems.  But, they stopped selling that in January 2019

They still work (I have 4 running) if you happen to find one for sale somewhere.

Otherwise, some people have used and HDMI Extractor to pull the audio stream from the video Chromecast devices.  This is NOT a supported configuration.  It may work or it may not.  Google won't guarantee it.

We keep hoping Google will come out with a new audio-only solution.  Personally, I would love to see a Next Mini with an audio-out port.   But, we'll have to wait and see what/if Google ever comes out with something.
