Chromecast pairing

JBL live660nc headphone will not pair.  My airpods pair fine.  The JBL try and connect and always fail.  I have factory reset and reset tv as well.  JBL are in pairing mode and are recognized my chromecast but fail to connect.

It's frustrating that your JBL Live 660NC headphones won't pair with your Chromecast while your AirPods work fine. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try to get them to connect:

General Troubleshooting:

  1. Forget Device:

    • On your Chromecast, go to the Bluetooth settings and forget the JBL headphones. This removes any old pairing information that might be causing issues.

  2. Restart Devices:

    • Turn off and on both your Chromecast and your JBL headphones. This can sometimes clear temporary glitches.

  3. Disable Other Bluetooth Devices:

    • Temporarily turn off Bluetooth on other devices like phones or laptops that might be connected to the JBL headphones. This ensures the headphones are available for pairing solely with the Chromecast.

  4. Check Pairing Mode:

    • Make sure the JBL headphones are still in pairing mode when you try to connect them. Refer to the JBL Live 660NC manual for specific instructions on entering pairing mode.
