Chromecast tv 4k disconnecting Wifi

My Chromecast 4k is intermittently disconnecting from wifi.

I read other posts that recommend resetting my router...but my other devices stay connected just fine!

Why is only my Chromecast having this problem and how do I fix this?

Thanks for reaching out. Let's sort this out.

A few questions: what's the LED status on your Chromecast with Google TV (4K)? How far is it from the Wi-Fi router? When did the issue start?

Give these steps a try:

1. Reboot your Chromecast with Google TV (4K).
2. Reboot your Wi-Fi router.
3. Plug it in on a different HDMI port on your TV.
4. Plug it in on a different TV screen, if one is available.
5. Try to connect it to the mobile hotspot. This is to isolate the issue.
6. Factory reset your Chromecast with Google TV (4K).
