Chromecast with Google TV (4K) does not find location on Ethernet

I was trying to watch local TV from my Paramount+ app and it wouldn't let me. Tried on my phone and it worked so knew it must be location settings. I didn't see where I could specifically place my location on Google TV. It is set correctly in my Nest app. I them unplugged the Ethernet cable, got on my WiFi, and it worked instantly.

Is there some way to force Google TV to remember my location when I'm on an Ethernet connection, or do I need to keep it on WiFi for this?

Thanks!

Hi @mjolnir

That is because the location services of Android relies on WiFi, so if the app is using the location services it needs WiFi. You can share feedback to the Google TV team by using the Feedback option.

Let them know this is currently not a feature. 🙄
