Are there any plans to include fast forward and pause buttons on the remote? I'm holding off buying this item because of this issue.

You can use the directional left and right keys on the remote to control fast forward and rewind inside an application and you can pause the playback using the enter button.

Here is a list of the Chromecast with Google TV specifications. The only ports and connectors the Chromecast with Google TV has is an HDMI that plugs into the TV, and a USB-C for power and data. You wouldn't be able to plug the Chromecast directly into your speakers, unfortunately.

Does the Chromecast with Google TV have a 3.5mm audio output? I'd be looking to connect the video to a projector with HDMI and the audio direct to speakers. Thanks

Jeran,
Thanks for that but, unfortunately, it means the Chromecast won't fit my needs.

I'm sorry to hear that, but totally understandable, if it doesn't work for you, no need to waste the money! Did you happen to have any more questions, or am I good to go ahead and lock up the thread?
Best regards,
Jeran
