Chromecast with Google Tv audio sync issue

caseymkent
Community Member

Using an LG C7 and an LG soundbar with ARC I am getting a terrible audio delay. It is mostly noticable when playing Dolby Atmos content. However, if I disable surround sound in the settings, or playback stereo it's still noticable, audio delay in both cases. This issue has been brought up before and I want to know if there's a fix or workaround. Thanks

Reboot the Chromecast device - unplug it from the main power grid for about 5 minutes then plug it back in.

Force stop the applications affected.

If necessary, adjust the TV audio delay settings.
