Looking for some information on Chromecast Google TV's upscaling. Currently looking for a new TV but depending on the operating system available I will possibly still use the Google TV dongle. The questions are
1. Does Google TV upscale everything to 4k automatically before sending the signal to the TV?
2. If it does, where would the scaling rank Vs Sony, LG, Hisense, TCL?
3. Can you turn off the upscaling to allow the TV software to handle it?
