Connection troubles

I cant link my chrome cast to my google home. It wont show up and both devices are linked to the same wifi. My phone/home cant link to the chromecast it wont show up please help

Thanks for reaching out. To confirm, when you say Google Home, are you pertaining to the speaker or Google Home app? If it's the Google Home app, are you setting up your Chromecast? What type of Chromecast device do you have? What is the make and model of the phone you're using to set it up?
