Green screen on my TV when I try to cast my Laptop screen using Google Chrome

Green screen on my TV when I try to cast my Laptop screen using Google Chrome.
Casting Tab working fine.
It was working perfectly fine last week but suddenly now it showing green screen on my TV.

Audio able to be casted on my TV just not the screen.
Anyone faced the similar issue and have any idea how to fix this issue? Thanks in advance for the help!

I have the same issue and would like to know how to resolve without having to install an older version of google chrome

Hi Juni, I am using Window 10. To me, seem like this issue happened after my TV updated to the latest Chromecast software (Andriod TV) version 1.61.x.

Hi Juni

i am using Windows 10. I resolved the issue by going back to a previous version of Google chrome.  It appears that it must be the latest version of google chrome that has an incompatibility issue.   

I have not tried any other browser as I only know of casting my screen using google chrome to my skyworth to with chrome cast built in

Hi folks, 

 

Got it, Could you try these steps and let me know how it goes?

 

  1. Go to the Chrome menu Settings Show advanced settings and uncheck the box that reads Use hardware acceleration when available.
  2. Close and reopen the Chrome browser.

Followed the above steps but it did not work.  Still getting a green screen when casting screen

What version of Chrome worked for you?

None working anymore.   I took the RB back to Skyworth over two weeks ago and they still do not have a solution.  Also the older version also stopped functioning

Hey folks,

 

I apologize for the delay. I am checking in to make sure that everything is covered. Please confirm if you have the same TV as Firoz (Skyworth TV) and whether you are experiencing the same issues when casting from cast-enabled apps like YouTube Music or Spotify. Also, please provide the cast firmware version of your TV.

Hi 

the guys at Skyworth seem to be aware of the issue and have a fix to their firmware.  I took the TV in to there technical centre in Lordsview and after a few weeks they managed to sort out the TV.  I believe they will be releasing or have released a firmware update.

Hi,

I am also facing same issue. I am using Sansui TV, previously Cast screen was working perfectly fine but since 2-3 weeks it is not working. If anyone has the solution then please let me know.

Having the same issue with green screen on casting the whole screen and not the tab . The casting tab feature is working perfectly fine. Strangely its working on Google Nest Hub max but not working on my TV.( Toshiba , Android TV , Version 10 , Last Security Update April 2022).

My Google Chrome is Version 113.0.5672.127 (Official Build) (64-bit).

Please do provide a solution to this .  

 

NOTE: I have tried through Microsoft Edge also.. but same issue is coming. 

ME too, can be used on the tab, but not the whole screen.
