Hi. I'd like to get lossless audio out of my chromecast... would like to know if its possible and if so, how to get to it.

Thanks

Hey there Michael,

The Chromecast 2nd Generation is able to play the FLAC audio codec, which is a lossless audio type. If you are referring to Apple's Lossless Audio Codec (or ALAC for short) the Chromecast 2nd Generation will not be able to play it natively. So, if you want to play lossless audio onto your Chromecast, do so as a FLAC audio file.

I hope that answers your question, let me know if you had anymore!

Thank you,
Jeran
