I can’t connect my Anker soundcore life Q30 headphones to my chomecast via Bluetooth?

whenever I try to connect my headphones to Bluetooth they show up on my chromecast, then I try to pair it. It takes a while pairing and just comes up with unable to connect. I’ve looked everywhere and can find no useful information about specifically connecting these headphones to a chromecast.

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. I suppose you’re using a Chromecast with Google TV (4K or HD), since older versions can’t be paired via Bluetooth. Is this the first time you've connected this particular headset to your Chromecast device? Please take note that not all Bluetooth devices will successfully pair with your Chromecast with Google TV. If they can, always ensure that both devices (the Chromecast and the Bluetooth devices) are up-to-date. Let us know if you still have questions.

I’m pretty sure I’ve got the HD version of the chrome cast. I’ve tried connecting my headphones many times and it shows up with the name on my tv but doesn’t connect. I did some digging around the types of Bluetooth and i think that might be the issue. They both up to date also

Thanks for the reply. The Chromecast device may detect it, but the connection attempt might not be successful. Kindly check the specifications of your headset here at this link. It seems that their support is also found somewhere at the bottom of the page. You might as well check if they have community support just like this; other users might have anything to suggest.
