Issues with setting up remont buttons

I'm having issues with setting up remote buttons, 

I click on add device then,

Soundbar then,

Polk audio then

Volume, click next

But then it tells me to point the google tv remote at your soundbar and toggle the volume up and down, however there is not a confirmation (next button) on the screen. It does this to all brands and even on TV remote settings. Im stuck. The last thing I want to do is factory reset google tv and loose everything

Sometimes I would have to reconfigure the remote buttons when it sometimes doesn't work but I've always had a next button to move to the power button settings...

Thanks for reaching out. Please try to reboot your Chromecast and try again. Also, you've mentioned in your post that the last thing you want to do is to reset your device, have you done this step? If you haven't yet, please try that and let us know how it goes.
