Hi. I was gifted with a brand new chromecast. When I try to set it up, I had trouble connecting to our wifi network using Google home app and manually connecting to the network via its remote. I have tried to turn off Chromecast device and my router for some minutes, however, the error still persists. Now I've tried to factory reset, after some minutes the device turned off and doesn't work anymore.
Can anyone help me with this one please? Thanks

A few questions — what's the LED light status in your Chromecast? What exact message are you getting? What mobile phone are you using for setup?
