Removing back of remote-It does not slide open at all. Is there something else I can try?

I have tried multiple times and the back just will not slide open?  Any other suggestions?

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. I’m sorry to hear that you’re having difficulty removing the battery cover. You may need to put your thumb on the rounded spot and give it a little push as you slide it forward. Hopefully, it helps. Let us know if you have other questions or concerns.
