Streaming from iPad to smart TV with in built Chromecast

Hi I have a new JVC TV with in built Chromecast

I want to stream on the TV an art course I am doing called New Masters Academy.
I get it up in my iPad and start to play and I can see the streaming icon in the top left hand side.
I click it and I don’t get an option for my TV only my iPad.
When I stream from YouTube I do get this option.
pin Britbox for example I had a similar problem but found there is a icon on that app (New Masters Doesn’t have an app use through their site) in the bottom left hand corner and once I click that I can stream.
Would appreciate a walk through on this, thank you

Does you TV support Apple Airplay?

If it does, you can cast any other applications from your IPad to the TV using AirPlay.

You can cast YouTube directly to your Chromecast built-in TV, because YouTube is a Google application. Other Apple applications may not have Chromecast functionality included.

Hey @densaprk123 what application do you use to access New Master's Academy? If that application doesn't support Google Chromecast capability you'll be limited to AirPlay which is the default for iDevices. I use a similar tablet and all applications I've installed on the tablet that supports CC will have the CC icon to access my television or my CCwGTV.

It sounds like that app doesn't support casting.  The fact that you only get a choice for your iPad sounds like it's using Apple Airplay instead of Google's casting framework.

Each app has to make itself compatible.  I would suggest contacting New Masters Academy and ask them if/how they support Chromecast devices.
