TV is not on the list for set up.

Hi. I am setting up the remote to the chrome cast on my TV through the remote that came with chrome cast. 

I have got as far as the brand of TV, but my brand is not there, I have a ffalcon bought from JB HIFI.  Does that mean I can not connect the remote to the TV?

Hi Jane22,

While Google have add support for many popular TV's they can't add every TV available.

You can still use the Chromecast to control the Google TV interface, selecting apps and changing the Chromecast volume but you won't be able to use it for TV functions such as on/off or input selecting.
