Trying to start fresh and can't totally remove Google Home from my phone

 I've been trying to set up my Chromecast for about 3 days now. I want to be able to start fresh and start with a fresh install of Google Home, but whenever I delete it, and then download it again, it's retaining some info that I simply don't want and I cannot start with a fresh slate.

Any suggestions?

Try clearing the cache and data of your Google Home app, then reinstall it. If you have additional questions, feel free to submit another post and provide as many details as possible so that others can lend a hand.
