Xiaomi ust projector remote vs google tv remote

The xiaomi laser 4k projector is not listed as supported devices on my google tv. I was hoping to use the google tv remote to control the projector. I thing my projector uses bluetooth connection for the remote.

Hdmi cec does most of the things but i cannot turn off the projector. Only set it in standby mode. Also i need the projector remlte to move around in the initial screen upon projector startup as i cannot switch to the google tv hdmi input port. 

Although I can use the projector remote to control the google tv via hdmi cec. Then the issue is that when i have launched an app e.g. Netflix. Then I am stuck in that app. I cannot exit the apps via the xiaomi remote.

So what do you say? Am I forced to use teo remotes?

Unfortunately the android os is really slow on the projector and i really love the google tv as it is clean and quick!

I just hate having to use diffrent remotes...

I'm afraid the functionality that you're looking isn't available and your projector isn't compatible to be controlled by the Voice Remote, but we'll take this as feedback as we're always looking for ways to improve our products and its features.
