chromecast

Hello! My Chrome does not see chromecast anymore.  Thera are in the same wi-fi. Phone can see chromecast. Does anybody know why?

Hey there luca1,

I apologize about the late response on this thread, thank you for being patient! Were you able to fix that Chrome issue? If not, I'd be happy to help out, as I know it can be confusing when one device can cast, but another one cannot. Let me just ask you some questions about what's happening:

  • When did this issue start happening?
  • What OS are you using to run Google Chrome?
  • Does this only occur on one site, or all sites?
  • Are you connected to the same network band? Either 2.4GHz or 5GHz?
  • What model of Chromecast are you using?
  • What troubleshooting steps have you already tried?

It's us again. I wanted to check back in should you still need help with your Chromecast? If you are getting a message "No cast destination found" when casting from Chrome, please check this support website article for more troubleshooting steps.
