I think google should create static app shortcuts on CCGTV that don't disappear ( live on the Chromecast) when external storage is disconnected after a restart. I am fully aware that when I need to restart my Chromecast I lose my apps only because they are stored on my external SD card and the Chromecast starts up before the external storage is mounted which is why I need to rearrange the app order everytime but it's annoying and should be addressed. 

I am heavily invested in the Google ecosystem.

Google doesn't read every post in this forum but they do read and track all the feedback they receive that way. Just so you know, they won't respond directly to feedback so don't ask them any questions.
