Hello,
I set up my chromecast using a iPad. After setup I can select the device in the Home-app, but there is no cast or mirroring-options. On my Samsung phone with Android on the other hand it works instantly. On my wife’s iphone I get the message that the chromecast is offline or not connected to the same WiFi.
I tried several things on the appledevices:
- Check the wifi: all device (phones, ipads and chromecast) are connected to the same WiFi.
- Location is on
- Local netwerk for Google home is enabled
- Private relay is off
- no vpn
- rebooted iPad
- set chromecast back to factorysettings and started set up again from the beginning.
I don’t know want to try anymore. Any suggestions are welcome. Many thanks in advance!
