Also, please make sure that your Xiaomi device is already set up and working on the native app before connecting it to your speaker.

1. Open the Google Home app .
2. At the top left, tap Add   Set up device   Works with Google.
3. Select the device maker from the list.
4. Follow the in-app steps to complete setup.
