2nd gen nest mini disconnects daily

I somewhat recently got a 2nd gen Google Nest Mini from a raffle at work, and it works fine for the most part, but every afternoon it will disconnect and become unresponsive for a couple minutes. I usually have my laptop connected to it through Bluetooth playing music. It will, on a daily basis (about the same time every day as well), disconnect the Bluetooth, then when I say "hey google" it won't start listening unless I wait a few minutes, and then I have to manually disconnect the Bluetooth and reconnect it, sometimes twice, before it works again. Just a minor inconvenience, I know, but is convenience not the primary purpose of it's existence? Hope others aren't having this issue as frequently as I am, if anybody has found a solution in the settings or something please let me know, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks for posting. Thanks for posting. I'm sorry to hear your Nest Mini keeps disconnecting from your laptop. I understand it can be frustrating when your device isn't working as expected. Let's work together to figure out the issue. To help with that, I have a few questions for you:

  • Are there other nearby Bluetooth devices turned on?
  • Nearby high voltage appliances or devices that use 2.4 GHz?
  • Is the Google Home app and device firmware version updated?
  • What Bluetooth standard (1.0 to 5.1) is the device on?
  • Is the audio quality good?
