I have recently transitioned to my nest to ADT+ only because Google is dropping support for the Nest Secure which I paid a lot of money for. When I decided to go with nest/google I knew the cameras were good quality so invested in the system despite the cost being more than double that of Simply Safe, Ring, ADT and other systems. Now a few years later google is dropping support for their own products. I contacted the support team and all they are saying is that it is ADT's problem despite having a partnership with them. Why would they agree to migrate users like this without supporting their cameras? I am guessing to force you to buy new cameras and devices. This is just wrong on so many levels. I have spent so much money on these google products. To list a few:
nest secure - $399 now obsolete
nest camera $199
nest IQ Outdoor $399
nest outdoor $299
nest Hello $199
nest hub $99
nest thermostats x 2 $399
Above 2k with tax and google just passes the buck to ADT. I am so incredibly frustrated with googles home automation. They need to make this right. For a company that touts they are committed to making peoples lives easier through home automation and hardware, they are doing the exact opposite!
nest sensor $69
nest indoor/outdoor X2 $399 - only cameras currently supported.
nest aware subscription $12/month
Googles commitments are just a marketing ploy

Google Nest's 1st gen cameras are still supported, and still work in the Google Nest app. We have several.

@ MplsCustomer However they do not work with the ADT+ app which is my point.

Oh!
That seems like a basic breakdown in the much-advertised ADT-Google Nest partnership.

I’m having the same issue, where my Nest Cam Outdoor is unsupported with ADT+. This transition has been anything but seamless. What are my options?
