Buenos días, en mi Chromecast Tv HD no me aparece aun la actualización a android 14, ¿influye si no hay mucho almacenamiento disponible?

Thank you for reaching out to the community. I’m sorry that your Chromecast with Google TV HD hasn’t been updated on Android 14. I’m glad to help you.

To answer your question, no, it doesn’t affect the storage on either your Android phone or your Chromecast device itself. Please do the following steps to factory reset your Chromecast to receive the update:

  1. While the Chromecast is plugged into the TV and powered on, press and hold the button on the back of the Chromecast. The LED should start to blink yellow.

  2. When the LED light turns solid white, release the button, and the Chromecast will then reset.

Furthermore, please try to reboot your router; here are the instructions:

  • Unplug the Wi-Fi router from the power source for 2 minutes.

  • Ensure that the router's lights turn off completely when unplugged.

Note: Some routers have backup battery packs, so it will be necessary to disconnect the battery packs as well to ensure that the router is completely turned off.

  • After 2 minutes, plug the router back into its power source.

  • Once all the router lights are back on and you can find the network name listed in the Wi-Fi options on your mobile device or computer, you should check if the Chromecast is connected to the Wi-Fi network.
