Ambient mode photo album

Ambient mode is only selecting 5 photos from my album and after displaying them goes to generic pictures. The system was using the whole photo album up until about a week ago.

Having the choice to create a photo album in which pictures are shown on your device is a great feature to have and we'' make sure we do the steps necessary to return it back to its original state. A few questions: what Nest device do you have there? Has it not been resolved by itself? Could you do a sequential reboot first starting with your WiFi router, then your Nest device. Restarting your phone might also help and tell me how it goes.

The network in my area was down for maintenance yesterday and since it restarted ambient mode has returned to normal.
