So i've been trying to figure out how to turn off the announcements when I tell my google home to do something. I find it incredibly annoying as have many others that i've seen with this same problem. Google tried to address it by saying oh if you put all of the lights in one room it won't make an announcement. But that defeats the purpose of having separate rooms. Why not just have a setting where I can turn off the announcements. I know google knows that people have this issue because i've been seeing forum topics about it since 2018. It's been 6 years you'd think a company like google may actually listen to their consumers but obviously they have no intention of fixing this proble. I may as well switch to amazon alexa they at least they don't suffer from this stupid annoyance.

I also often encounter such problems with Google Home and understand your frustration. Indeed, when the device constantly makes announcements, it is very annoying, especially if you have many rooms and different control scenarios. It seems that the company simply ignores such basic user requests and, instead of a real solution, offers only workarounds. Personally, I find it helpful to distract myself from these minor technical issues by planning something enjoyable for myself and my family. For example, I recently found a cool idea for organizing a comfortable suburban life near Kyiv, and you can find more details at piemont . It has a good description of the cottages, the gated community, and the green area — it really inspires new plans. It distracts me a little from minor technical problems and motivates me to think about pleasant things instead of constant announcements.
