If I have posted this in the wrong place, please let me know!
I have Wyze integrated into Google Home, and have had a Wyze cam with a Garage Door Controller for about a year now. It works well - I set a PIN in the Wyze app when I first set it up, and I can ask Assistant "Open the garage door". I am asked for my PIN, and voila, the door opens.
I also have several lights in the garage, and typically activate those with a "turn off/on the garage lights" routine.
Recently, I decided to create a new Home routine which would combine those things - turning on the lights in the garage while the door opens (and also a routine to do the opposite once I asked for it to be closed).
The issue is, during this new routine, Assistant asks me for the PIN, yet nothing happens.
I still can open the door by simply asking Assistant to "Open the Garage Door", but it just won't work in my new routine. 🤔
I reset the PIN in the Wyze app, thinking that might trigger the missing connection, but nada.
Any ideas? Thanks!

I too am having this same problem. What I've noticed is that home asks for the pin and activates the mic, but before I can respond the routine reports as "Done" which means my pin is an entirely new inquiry.
Wondering if it's possible to have the routine not report done until the door is actually reporting opened.

For what it's worth, I think I found a temporary work around until Google gets their services playing nicely with each other.
Problem #1 - Google Home cannot share a home when using gsuite account
Problem #2 - Wyze pins apparently are hosted from the app for the free account (not sure for paid)
Problem #3 - Alexa will not answer hands free unless the app is open in the foreground.
Solution #1 (Free) - I was able to get Alexa to work properly from my wife's phone. So I tried saying "Hey Google, open Alexa" and then "Alexa, open <garage door>" and then Alexa asked for the pin, and the door opened. This will allow her to open the garage door while driving down the street to our home, completely hands free.
Solution #2 ($30) - From the Wyze forum, if you get a Wyze Hub and setup the pin there, "SUPPOSEDLY" not only can you share the pin, but up to 6 members of your family can set their own pin.
Good luck.
