Am I missing a function when I look?
when I am away it rightly switches to away mode on my Learning Thermostat 3 but often when it is cold and soon to be dark I first want to go past the thermostat and take food scraps up to the roof where there is a wormery. With the door to the roof open and me outside turning on the heating seems a little pointless. Is there a way I can give myself a ten minute delay? I am attaching a Zigbee door sensor (Tuya) to the door (if that helps). I’m resurrecting Home Assistant too if that helps (RP 3B SD card died: moving to Raspberry Pi 4 on an SSD. Have a google developer account for that reason).

Hello Eerke,
I'm sorry for the late reply, and I know it has been a while, but I wanted to ensure that everything is covered here.
The Nest Thermostat doesn't have a delay option. Once the temperature mode or temperature has been activated, the system should respond according to the settings. With this, please let our product team know about it by sending feedback, and let us know if you have any other questions or concerns. Otherwise, this thread will be locked within 24 hours.
Thanks,
Mark
