Last Monday 2/21/2023 I was able to trigger SmartThings Automations from my Nest Home devices. The next day, when I tried I got the "one or more devices aren't available you may want to try setting them up again" error. But now, the Google Home app routines will not let me trigger the SmartThings Automations - those options have disappeared.
I'd love to know why and if that is ever coming back. I have many Automations that I used to trigger from my Nest devices and the Google Home Routines do not allow the same level of control.
It's very disappointing when tools you have used for ages are suddenly disabled by a software upgrade.

I fixed my own problem. While I had relinked the SmartThings account (under Home >> Settings >> Works with Google) without success, I removed that account completely, restarted the phone (don't know if that was necessary), and linked the account again. Now in a Home routine when I Add action, pick Adjust Home Device, scroll to the bottom of that list, the Add scenes option is back. A list of the SmartThings automations is displayed and I can pick one or more.
All good.
No idea why that was lost - maybe an app upgrade.

Yes, the Home routines are still able to trigger Samsung automations. Thanks for asking. 😀
