Away from home

Away uses my cell number and when I leave home and my wife is there I get msg how do I add her cellphone and only if both are away it is truly.  AWAY?????

To use two phones for Nest Thermostat's "Home/Away Assist," invite the second person to your Google Home/Nest app household, ensure both phones have location permissions enabled, and set "What decides if you're home" to "Use phone location". The system only switches to "Away" when both phones have left.

On her phone, I would also recommend going into the Google Home app profile, Home Settings, then under Presence Sensing make sure that her phone has been allowed to use the location for Home/Away status.
