Became very bad

Hi

Google Home became very bad over time. Despite all the other fails in german, it has been changed. I have multiple devices that aren't reachable. And I have a night time process turning all off. Once it said "5 devices unreachable" Now it tells "Sorry, device 1 unreachable","Sorry, device 2 unreachable" etc. Annoying. THen I had a sunrise alarm. It simply forgot the sunrise. Very very sad.

Thanks for sharing details about the issue here. I know how challenging it is when you're having issues with your Google Home devices. A few questions: when did the issue start? How far is your speaker from the router? Also, please list down all the smart devices connected to your Google Home speaker.

 

Let's try these steps:

 

  1. Move your Google Home device within 15-20 ft. away from the router to get enough signal from your network.
  2. Reboot your Google Home device and router by disconnecting them from the power source and leave them unplugged for 1 minute. Once done, plug them back one at a time with intervals.

 

Let us know how it goes.

Hi Carsten,

 

To confirm, are you having issues controlling your smart devices? Please list down all the devices that you're having an issue with, and the manufacturer's name. Also, are you able to control those devices from the native app?

I can control all devices as normal. but in the ROUTINE "Good night" I had an action, that turned off all devices (if on) But if the devices werent reachable because of power switch turned off, I recieved once "17 devices unreachable" Now I get "Sorry, device 1 not reachable", "Excuse me, device 2 not reachable" and so on. It would be to much to list all devices. And I don't complain about the "unreachable" I complain about the loosing of the group of devices! That has nothing to do with my devices!

Sorry for the delays. To confirm, do you get those messages when your smart devices are turned off from the switch?

Once again: I don't wonder that I get the message "Sorry device not reachable" I'm annoyed about the fakt, that it once was "Sorry, 15 devices not reachable" and now it is "Sorry, Device 1 not reachable" "Sorry, device 2 not reachable" and so on!

And YES: I turn my light off with a switch, then its of course unreachable.
