Camera is offline

I need help to get my camera on . I tried resetting, disconnecting the power supply, deleting the nest app and reinstalling the Nest App, After all this it shows Offline

Thanks for reaching out. Sorry to hear you're going through this with your camera. Can you tell me what type of camera you have? (wired or wireless) When did the issue start? What is the status light on your camera? Are you getting any error messages? How far is the camera from the router? Has the camera been connected before?

 

Here are some troubleshooting steps:

 

  • Make sure the camera is within 5 feet of the router to connect.
  • Check interference: Wireless interference can cause problems when connecting to the Google Home or Nest app. Other devices using the 2.4 GHz frequency may interfere.
  • Network compatibility: Verify that the network you use is compatible with the camera.
  • Restart the router: Unplug and then plug it back in.
  • Factory reset: As a last step you can perform a factory reset on the camera, this will put the camera back to its default settings.
