Camera order on Nest app

I added cameras to my Nest app. I would like to change the order that I see them on the app but it appears they are listed for the newest cameras/thermostats first. They are NOT in alphabetical order and the most recent post I saw on this issue was from 2021 where the suggestion was to rename them in alphabetical order or number them with what you want to see first on the app. I tried both suggestions and neither worked so I have a camera in a room we never use showing up first and the thermostat on the main living floor is listed last because I have had it the longest. I see nothing on the app to reorder these like other apps allow you to do. Can anyone help? thank you!!

Maybe Google Nest has changed things recently. Our cameras and doorbells have always been in alphanumeric order in the Google Nest app (for the past 4 years). But we haven't added a camera or doorbell to the Google Nest app since Dec. 2021.

I understand that this feature is not available and we don't have any news to share about applying it to the Nest app or Google Home app. We're always looking for ways to improve and we'll take it as feedback. I'd suggest you send feedback to let the Google Engineering team know about your concern. While they won't respond directly back to you, this is the best way to let them know about this. Let us know if you have more questions in mind.
