Hi all,
We moved into a house earlier this year which has a Nest thermostat receiver attached to the boiler. However the previous homeowners took their thermostat itself with them when they moved.
My question is: if we buy a new Nest thermostat can we connect it to this existing receiver? If so, does this require connection to a Google account or any kind of adjustment from the previous owners to allow us to use it?
Many thanks.

Hi Lewis3,
Thanks for reaching out. I'd love to know more about this. Could you share a photo of your current thermostat's wiring? Also, you could try our compatibility checker to see if your current system is compatible with the Nest Thermostat.
Thanks,
Mel

Hi Mel,
Thanks for getting back to me. I've not done the compatability checker so I will look at that. I have some images of the wiring, how best can I share those with you?
Best,
Lewis
