Can I recreate family bell with other automations?

I've just come across videos of the previous family Bell app being used to help children move through routines in the mornings. I'm absolutely devastated to see that it's no longer supported and I don't have the option in my Google account to create any new family bells. Is anyone aware of any way to recreate the type of experience where you move through one task into another by pressing a button on the Google home so where children can be reminded eat breakfast, they press the button and it moves to the next one get dressed, press the button and so on and so on?
