Can not log into nest app

Is anyone else having trouble login into there nest app ?

Yes.  I'm not able to use the app on any of my Apple devices.  I thought it might have been due to the recent software update, but I even tried on an older iPhone I haven't updated the software on in a few years and even it didn't work.  Surprisingly, the app works on my Samsung tablets and I can login into the Nest website from my computer and mobile devices.  I called Google support and they have no clue what's going on.  Took my information and said they'd escalate the issue.  Hopefully they can resolve it soon.  I can still control my thermostats from the Nest website or the Google Home app, but the Google Home app doesn't allow me to see the readings on the temperature sensors or even switch to using them.  I'm also not able to see my Nest smoke detectors from the home app.  Sad to hear you're having the same problem, but glad to hear it's not just me.

Where can I report this as well? It’s weird I’m getting activity notifications but to open the app it won’t load

I tried the network path and tried to connect to the nest WIFI but I can connect but when I do it asks for the wifi password which I dont have. tried the scan mode on the screen and got stuck with a watch guard installation. Which for now I would rather avoid. This is all new I have setup these before it was not that hard

I used the link below.  There's not a specific option for the Nest app, so I chose thermostats and entered a detailed description.  When support called, I explained the situation.

Yes I am having the same issue. I thought it was a WiFi issue being that I had my hotspot turned on earlier for work. Glad to know I’m not going crazy.

It was briefly working about 30 minutes ago, but isn’t working now 😞.

Yes I am having issues. My issue was that I changed carriers and got a new home subnet. My nest dispalys a code to scan but it leads me to setup watcguard, which I dont want to on the fly. I have tried going via the nest wfi network but that fails because I cant find the password for the nest ip network

I was able to chat with a senior supervisor who basically told me to do everything I had done. I downloaded the google home app for the time being 🙈 if they have discontinued service for the actual nest app why don’t they just tell us? My next step is revert my iPad back before I did the new iOS update to see if that works
