Cannot connect

Hi

i cannot connect my Nest thermostat to my nest app. I put in the code from the nest app and it says try again later?  What am I missing?

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry for the delay. A few questions: what type of Nest Thermostat do you have? You can visit this link to check what type of thermostat you have. Were you able to try scanning the QR code instead? Are there devices or appliances (such as baby monitors, microwaves, cordless phones, etc.) near your thermostat? Those devices could interfere with the Wi-Fi or Bluetooth signal. How far is your thermostat from your router? Please share with us your thermostat power readout. 

 

You can follow this guide:

 

  1. Go to your thermostat Quick View menu.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Look for Technical Info.
  4. Select Power.

 

Also, ensure that there are no Bluetooth devices connected to your phone.
