Cannot log onto Nest website

My companies camera set up is on Nest, however since the changeover to google home I am unable to log into nest on chrome. It shows the "Sign in with Google" I press that, select the account and it starts to load like normal, blue home with a circle, and then the page goes white and the "Sign in with google" button appears again. I have tried on 3 different devices, I have messaged google support and they told me that it may be an issue with nest. I tried to view on google home and it tells me that I have to transfer my devices to google home to be able to view the history, however I have lost all of the footage on the nest browser and am unable to obtain it.

I have tried unlinking and relinking the nest app with google, I have tried clearing cookies, like I said on 3 devices. Nothing is working and i have a client demanding camera footage from an incident. Does anyone have any advice?

I've seen several posts in this forum indicating that this looping back to the "Sign on with Google" option occurs when you do not have cookies allowed for nest.com and google.com. In Firefox, I have those two URLs configured to always allow cookies for both http and https.

Hi TheTFreezy,

Thank you for posting in the community. I see you’re having trouble accessing your Nest account on your Chrome browser after you migrate the account to Google. I understand how frustrating this can be, since you want the video history for a client request. I appreciate all the detailed information; the troubleshooting steps you’ve already taken and for your assistance, @MplsCustomer. I’m here to help.

To further assist you, please respond to the following questions:

  • What is the make and model of your computer?
  • What is the operating system of your computer?
  • What is the web version of the browser you use?
  • Is this a personal or business computer?
  • Are there any installed antivirus, security, or firewall software?

Please keep me posted on your findings.

Regards,

Byron
