I have chromecast HD connected to non smart tv. I have bought Ugreen bluetooth audio receiver. But i am unable to get it working. When i try to pair it, it scans for devices. Ugreen shows up in the list but when goes through the process it syas “couldn’t pair”. Then small pop up shows up says device disconnected. If i go back the device name shows up in the connected bluetooth list but can't connect to it. I can connect my sony headphones to the chromecast and other bluetooth devices. Also i can successfully connect my phones and tablet to ugreen device. Could any one help me?

Hi @Ndosanjh,

Thank you for posting in the community. I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues pairing your Chromecast with a Ugreen Bluetooth Audio receiver and getting a couldn’t pair error. I’ll be more than glad to assist you.

Here I left some troubleshooting steps you can try to fix the issue you have:

  1. Turn off your Bluetooth device, then turn it back on. After your device resets, try to pair it again.
  2. If you have multiple devices paired with your TV, disconnect the ones you're not using.
  3. The issue might be with your Bluetooth device. Try to connect a different Bluetooth device to check if that one works.
  4. Unplug your streaming device for 10 seconds, then plug it back in. After it turns back on, try to pair the device again.
  5. Check if your Bluetooth device connects to other devices, such as a phone or tablet.
  6. If your device connects to other devices: Factory reset your Chromecast and Google TV Streamer (4K).
  7. If your device doesn't connect to other devices: Check that your Bluetooth device has up-to-date software or get help from your device's manufacturer.

You can also find more information in the following article: Connect Bluetooth devices to Google streaming devices.

Let me know how it goes and keep me posted.

Best regards,

Derick.
