I'm trying to make an automation to turn off the TV at 9am, with the condition the TV is turned on.
Unfortunatly the device.state.Online values of the chromecast or the TV never return true. Without the conditions the actions run fine. Any ideas on this?
condition:
type: or
conditions:
- type: device.state.Online
state: online
is: true
device: Chromecast - Woonkamer
- type: device.state.OnOff
state: on
is: true
device: PHL-55PUS7304/12 - Woonkamer

Any device I try to use to play music defaults to my kitchen hub. Unless I manually instruct the unit to play on its own, even though all speakers and hubs are set to be the default music speakers, they still send to the kitchen hub.

Hello, experiencing the same behaviour.
The condition
device.state.online
is not recognized - no matter if you say
is: true
or
isNot: true
or whatever comparison you use.
The online/offline state of my PHL TV is never detected and therefore the automation does not work with this condition. Sad.
