Compatibility of my thermostat

I have the nest learning thermostat and trying to see if anyone knows if this is compatible with my system. I had the cheaper nest thermostat and it said it was not compatible. I just need to know if I need to go to a different brand like ecobee or will this thermostat work? If it will work can someone tell me which wires go where?

It seems like you're having some trouble understanding the wiring of your thermostat.  Have you looked for answer in the Nest Thermostats section?

@David2472, I appreciate that you considered using the Nest Thermostat E you have. It appears that your Heat Pump is compatible with it. Make sure to follow the corresponding wires according to their usage. Here's your guide on how you will install it:

• Green wire > G terminal (Fan)
• Blue wire > C terminal (24 Volt Common)
• Red wire > R terminal (Power)
• Yellow wire > Y terminal (Cooling)
• White wire > W terminal (Heating)
• Orange wire > O/B terminal (Heat Pump)
