I (like many users here, probably) have a lot of automations and devices currently in the Google Home app. I was really hoping that, with the new Script Editor feature, I would be able to copy and/or edit the scripts of existing automations, add a new automation and paste in the script from an existing Home-app-created automation, and able to toggle the editing mode for automations between the Home app UI and the script editor UI, thereby making it much faster/easier to create/edit variations of automations that impact a large number of devices in my home.
Hopefully (considering the script editor is still in public preview), this will be something that will become a feature before public release. Otherwise, I can only imagine the potential frustration of the majority of Google Home users with little/no scripting experience as they attempt to create their first scripted automation, rather than being able to simply use the script editor to edit an automation they created using the Google Home app UI.
I think this would not only allow average users to more easily learn how to properly format script-based automations, but would make it much easier and faster to edit and create new automations.

Hi lvl777 you are indeed correct that you are not alone ... i have nearly 100 devices and a feew dozen automations -- recently "something" happened where all my automations became "personal" so my wife can longer control the house -- needless to say her not being a geek as i am she is NOT impressed in the least and questions my sanity ... and what convenience .. google c'mon you're better than this seriously? you're becoming microsoft -- stop hiring their people FFS and stop using offshore wastes of space
