A few questions: what Google Home or Google Nest speakers do you have? Are you getting any message when controlling your lights? Also, did you use the Google Home app in linking your Cync light strips?
Make sure your devices are within 15-20 feet of your router and connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Try reinstalling your Google Home app. Rebooting your lights, Google Home and router might help too.
